Functionality
Video calls do not work and for audio calls you have to initiate it (you can't answer a call, you have to call first). If they call you, it wants you to install a plugin. This is a Skype behavior, can't do anything.
I'm currently looking at options to get around this but seems to be a restriction from Skype Web App.

To make links work, you have to follow this steps:
- Enable Web link Preview in the Settings of Skype.
- Right click in the preview-link and select "Open" from the context menu.
